5-Factor World Diet Book Review

by Betsy on Celebs on February 12, 2010

Celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak has got a great new book The 5-Factor World Diet out that gives international tips on diet and weight loss. Keep in mind that this is the guy who has trained the likes of Milla Jovovich, Jennifer Hudson and has already written best sellers. Other global diet fads and books such as the Viking Diet, the Mediterranean Diet or the book, French Women Don’t Get Fat, just focus on one part of the world. Pasternak took a different approach and he’s got 120 global recipes plus tips from around the world.

For example, the Japanese never finish their plate. According to Pasternak they never leave the table with a full stomach because they walk away when they are 70% full.

Moving over to Europe, the Italians focus on the fresh ingredients and not the heavy sauces. So if you buy a good cut of salmon or tuna there’s no need to smother it in goo. Instead, appreciate it for the taste that it is. Another of his examples he takes from the Swedes. In Sweden it’s very common to eat open-faced sandwiches. You get the same taste but less calories and less carbs.

This The 5-Factor World Diet is a good little book to have as a reference and just reading it from time to time will keep these little tips at the front of our minds and will act as a reminders when sitting at the dinner table.

I have looked at many sites on this subject and not

come across a site such as yours which tells

everyone everything that they need to know. I have

bookmarked your site. Can anyone else suggest any

other related topics that I can look for to find out

further information?
