Robert Daltrey: Exercise

He and Pete Townsend are the last two remaining members of the band and Daltrey still gets on stage and delivers his physically-demanding performances just as he did back in the 70s. When asked about his exercise regime he responded,

“I’m pretty lazy. I used to run and I used to do a few light weights. But what made me fit was the stage shows.”

Britney Spears’ Sensible Diet

It seems that Britney Spears has her life back together.  Her worldwide Circus Tour has been a big hit, she gets time with her kids and she’s no longer carrying extra weight.  This week she was spotted at a hotel in Mexico looking toned and fit while taking a hiatus from her tour.  Insiders have said that it’s not just her rigorous dance workouts but also her new stress-free life that has contributed to her long term weight loss.  One insider said,
“Britney was sleeping only two to four hours a night for the longest time, but she’s gotten that under control.  Now she’s getting eight hours a night — and is drinking a ton of water and eating three normal meals a day.”

Kevin Federline Wants to Lose 40 Pounds

Although Kevin Federline hasn’t had his debut as a contestant on Celebrity Fit Club, he has already begun his battle against the bulge. According to OK! Magazine, he has a whole team of people who are helping him. He has a personal trainer making sure he exercises daily, a group that buys his groceries to ensure he gets his fruits and veggies and he also has a doctor that is monitoring his progress. One source said that Federline wants to lose weight slowly,

“He’s under a doctor’s supervision for slow, progressive weight loss, and that takes time.”

Kevin Federline To Be On Celebrity Fit Club

Kevin Federline, the dancer turned rapper and ex-husband of Britney Spears, is at an all time high with his weight.  Over the past few months we heard rumors that he was going to endorse the weight loss product EP-2, or that he was on a six-meal-a-day diet, but obviously he hasn’t lost an ounce of weight from the looks of this photo.

However, things are about to change for Federline as he is joining the cast of Celebrity Fit Club, and the news was confirmed by VH1 to People Magazine.

Emily Blunt: Dance Boot Camp

The up and coming actress Emily Blunt, who is best known for her role in the movie The Devil Wears Prada, has been preparing for her latest film, The Adjustment Bureau. In this new flick she’ll be starring as a ballerina along side Matt Damon.  Because she doesn’t have extensive dancing skills she has signed up for dance boot camp.  She told the Herald Sun,
“I’m going to dance boot camp. I’ll never be at the same standard as a professional, but hopefully I’ll be able to do a little bit. I didn’t do ballet when I was a child. I gave it up in some sort of bratty rage, claiming it hurt my feet.”
Dancing is a great workout and stars like Britney Spears, Sabrina Bryan and Gweyneth Paltrow use dance workouts to stay in shape.  According to ShapeFit, a 155 pound person can burn 422 calories an hour while doing aerobic, ballet or modern style dancing.  It also keeps the muscles long and lean, helps with balance and it’s simply a lot of fun.
The Adjustment Bureau will be out in 2010.

Britney Spears on SunFare Diet

Britney Spears is back on the cover of another tabloid.  Two weeks ago she had gained weight and now this week it seems she has lost 20 pounds in the past month.  Confusing isn’t it?  The mother of two has reportedly been working extra hard to get in shape, apart from all of the work she does on stage dancing while on her Circus tour.  According to Ok! Magazine she is using the gourmet meal delivery service called SunFare, a service that has also been used by Eva Longoria Parker, Marcia Cross and Khloe Kardashian.  SunFare takes a low-carb approach to weight loss and offers three meals a day plus two snacks.  A source revealed,
“When Britney is on Sunfare, she consumes approximately 1,100 to 1,200 calories per day.”
Apart from her diet plan she is still dependent on dance as her exercise outlet and a longtime friend said that she’ll dance at least two hours a day and then some days rehearsals can last up to eight hours.

Aly Michalka: Diet and Exercise

20-year-old Aly Michalka has been a hit with tweens thanks to her work for Disney since she was just a teen.  But now the star is about to hit the big leagues as her movie with co-star Vanessa Hudgens will be out next week and  it will surely be a summer favorite.  In an interview with Self Magazine this month she was asked how she finds time to fit in her workouts with such a busy schedule.  Michalka explained that she always finds time to exercise which she does four times a week.  She alternates her routine between kick-boxing, mixed martial arts, some weights and cardio.
“I think it’s important to stay fit on a regular basis instead of going on a crash diet or extreme exercise program.”
When asked if she had any healthy eating tips for Self Magazine readers she said she firmly believes in moderation but at the same time not depriving yourself of your favorite foods.  She explained,
“It’s all about moderation and drinking lots of water! Some of my favorite snacks are string cheese, edamame and carrots with ranch–they’re easy to eat on the go and taste yummy.”
Her new movie Bandslam is out in theaters August 14th.
