“I’m not going to lie — I’m not one of those people that says, ‘Oh, I eat hamburgers.’”

How Victoria Beckham prepared for her Armani Ads

Have you seen Victoria Beckham’s latest Emporio Armani ads? It’s been reported that the former Spice Girl went to gym seven days a week to prepare for the shoot with her soccer-hottie husband David Beckham.

The 35-year-old told Harper’s Bazaar in December that she didn’t want to rely on retouching like so many other advertising campaigns.

“I wanted to look at those pictures in 20 years’ time and say ‘Wow, look – after three kids – I didn’t look bad,” she was quoted as saying in Us magazine.

But is this what a mother of three should like like?

Victoria Beckham: Berry & Sashimi Diet

Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham is no stranger to fad diets.  In the past she’s been linked to seaweed shakes and edamame beans and all the while she continues to be bone thin.  Her latest diet is berries and sashimi and the occasional glass of wine when she’s in the mood to indulge.  One source told the Daily Mail that Beckham wants to be ultra thin for the sake of her clothing line.

“She thinks she’s the best ambassador for the clothes she designs – so she wants to be model thin.”

Victoria Beckham Fires Back at Weight Critics

After the barrage of negative comments Victoria Beckham fell victim to after her appearance at London Fashion Week, the former Spice Girl has fired back. While at the fashion show last week she looked deathly ill and thin, but Victoria has had enough of people saying that she has an eating disorder, is weight obsessed, too skinny, etc..  She told the Daily Mail,

“I am fine – happy and healthy.  It’s irresponsible when people obsess about my shape and size.”

Mel-B’s New Fitness Class

The former Spice Girl Mel-B isn’t leaving the stage necessarily but instead of performing in a stadium in front of thousands she plans to become a qualified fitness trainer and teach classes based on the DVD she launched in early 2009.  The 34-year-old has plans to complete a two-month course to get qualified and then she’ll start her high-energy class soon after.  A source told the Daily Mirror,
“(Brown) has never felt fitter, faster or stronger. Unlike some celebrities who endorse fad diets and daft fitness regimes, Mel is into old-fashioned sweat and tears to get results. “She’s had a few PT (personal training) sessions and decided to get qualified herself and help others achieve the perfect body.”
Mel-B is currently an ambassador for Fitness First, a UK-based gym with outlets around the world, and she is also working with industry experts to create her Totally Fit class that will be a high-octane, fast-paced class that will surely give results.

Hugh Jackman Working Out on the Trapeze

The hunky Hugh Jackman who stars in the X-Men series and who also hosted the Emmy’s this past year is an avid exerciser.  We’ve reported before on his rigorous X-Men workout that entails lots of cardio, strength training and pumping iron.  But this summer Hugh has decided to shake up his routine and he’s laying off the weights and instead doing trapeze work.  Jackman told Health Magazine,
“I do a lot of trapeze work right now. I do that because it’s fun and different, and I needed to get out of lifting weights. But I go back to the gym sometimes for lifting weights. I do a bit of everything. I just want to make sure I enjoy it. I also body surf almost every day. Now I work out to feel good, and how my body looks is a byproduct of that.”
The trapeze workout has been getting a lot of attention lately as celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Amy Winehouse and Mischa Barton have been spotted flying high in the air with the greatest of ease.  In addition, the Jukari Fit to Fly/Reebok classes are slowing popping up in gyms in the US and Europe and it’s slowly gaining popularity amongst us non-celebs.

Kelly Monaco’s Cobb Salad Diet

Mel B’s Diet

Former Spice Girl, Mel B is currently working on the Las Vegas Stage Review, Peepshow.  Needless to say, there are some barely-there outfits required for the stage from the looks of the photo above, but lucky for us she revealed to People Magazine how she’s staying in shape for the show. First off, she said that she relies on the food delivery service Freshology to get her daily dose of protein such as fish and chicken.  The 33-year-old told People Magazine,

“I have to eat, and I’m addicted to quinoa.” But once a week, “I splurge on whatever I’m craving—either an In-and-Out cheeseburger or a traditional English Sunday roast.”

Kim Kardashian on the Flying Trapeze

Amy Winehouse: Exercise Fanatic

Three cheers for Amy Winehouse, hip hip hooray!  Earlier this month we saw that Amy  bought an exercise DVD produced by Spice Girl Mel-B.  We assumed that she was jumping on the exercise bandwagon at the time, but now it seems that we were right.  In an interview this week with Now Magazine, Amy explained how she has turned over a new leaf and these days it’s no drugs and plenty of healthy foods and exercise.
