Adam Levine Does Yoga

If you think that yoga is only for women, think again. Yoga is also for men and Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine is a living example that men can also do yoga. He turns to yoga to counteract his rock star singing. Adam  used to do weight lifting as his workout but stopped when he discovered yoga. He hasn’t looked back ever since and has vowed never to lift another weight again.

Does he believe in the mind-body connection? Adam is skeptical about this. He also admitted that what made him love yoga is its appeal to everyone. As a musician, he is often on the road and he still practices yoga while he travels with the band.

“Being a traveler, yoga is by far the most convenient way to exercise while I’m on the road. You don’t need anything but a few feet of space and a mat. And I can always find at least an hour a day to practice.”

He advices those who are afraid to try out yoga to start out simple.
