adriana-limas-workoutAs a Victoria’s Secret model and the face of the brand’s new fragrance Noir, Adriana Lima has a body that most women dream of.  Recently in People Magazine, she does confess that it is a lot of hard work and she has tried various exercises to find what works best for her.

“I tried running, I took spin classes, I tried yoga, but I needed something to challenge me.”

So how did this women become such a ‘knockout?’

“Boxing!  It’s my favorite thing to do because it’s always exciting. It’s the best type of cardio that you can do. And you build up muscles without being too big.”

And Adriana is right, boxing is a great workout.  A 130 pound person can burn 708 calories in one hour if boxing in a ring and 354 calories an hour if boxing with a punching bag. Strap on the those boxing gloves!
