
Alison Sweeney is one busy lady. She is the host of Biggest Loser, an actress on Days of Our Lives and she’s a mom. In previous interviews she has revealed how she lost her post-baby weight, her wii workouts and she even offered some diet tips for busy women. Most recently she opened up about her cravings and indulgences and how she keeps herself in check.
She starts off by saying she loves popcorn and diet sodas, and even though diet sodas don’t have many calories she knows it’s not good to have that much. Even the Biggest Loser trainers Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels will get on to her about it. She explained,
“They’re [the trainers] adamantly opposed to it, so I try to not have it. I used to have six sodas a day – diet soda. I go for Diet Coke, and now I love Coke Zero, but oh my God, I shouldn’t even admit that. But I don’t have it that often. Once in awhile, I treat myself to a Coke Zero.”
When it comes to those fattening temptations like cookies, cake and her favorite red velvet cupcakes she will count calories to decide if she’s allowed to have some or not. If she can’t have that much she will allow herself one bite in order to have a taste test but she won’t eat the whole thing.
Having just a sample is a great way to get that sugar fix or chocolate fix but if you can’t stop with just one bite, then don’t try Alison’s plan. Better to be safe than sorry!
