Ashley Greene Gets Fit for Eclipse
Ashley Greene may have been the lesser known Alice Cullen in the teen vampire film series Twilight, but in the upcoming third instalment Eclipse, Greene’s intense fighting scenes will see to it that everyone knows her name. The 22-year-old actress revealed to RadarOnline.com how she got in shape for the role.
“My body is so sore right now,” she told RadarOnline.com. “But in three months I’m going to love it.”
Greene normally only does Pilates, but the film series’ producers have assigned her a personal trainer who mixes up her workouts and caters to her likes, dislikes and needs.
“If I want to go kayaking, he’ll take me kayaking and mountain biking and yoga and martial arts. So it’s this whole mixture of everything, it’s really fun.’”
Everybody’s going Twilight crazy right now, and with the world’s harsh spotlight on the young cast, they’re under quite a bit of pressure to perform – not only in terms of their acting, but also when it comes to their physical fitness. Greene’s co-star Taylor Lautner has also had to bulk up for his role as Jacob Black, as well as Kellan Lutz who plays Emmett Cullen. But it seems the key to the casts’ workouts is fun, and we can definitely cheer to that!
