Ashley Tisdale: Diet & Exercise

Over the past year singer and High School Musical actress Ashley Tisdale has practically been in hibernation as she works diligently in the recording studio for a hopeful new album. As she’s gearing up to hit the big screen she talked with SELF Magazine about her workouts, favorite music and of course fashion. Even though she sports a thin frame she admits that she’s not like other starts who don’t eat but she does balance that out with plenty of exercise. Three to four times a week she’ll do 30 minute cardio workouts at Equinox gym and she does body-resistance moves with her trainer to keep a feminine physique. She said,

“Working out for me, actually it just, it’s obvious I get very stressed out with everything I do and it just kind of de-stresses it, it releases it.”

In addition, she likes to go to dance classes but sticks to the back row because she’s not too confident in her fancy footwork. As for the diet she doesn’t limit herself from anything but she does watch her carbs. She explained,

“I try to limit the carbs because my trainer always tells me I’ll see results faster if I cut out the bread but I’m such a bread fanatic, the bread basket is my favorite thing for dinner.”
