Ashley Tisdale Does Piloxing Workout

High School Musical star and songstress Ashley Tisdale seems to be everywhere these days with her sophomore album Guilty Pleasures, out in stores now as well as a new movie, Aliens in the Attic.  But the 24-year-old loves to workout and even if she’s on the road she is always sure to find the time to exercise.  When traveling she does an exercise DVD called Piloxing, which is a mix of pilates and boxing.  She explains,
“It’s Pilates and boxing put together.  I always make time for it, because not only is it healthy for you, but it also relieves my stress. I’m so busy doing stuff and I get stressed a lot that working out takes me away from that.”
When at home, Ashley sticks to a traditional cardio routine and also works out with a trainer.   If not with the trainer she’ll do 30 to 40 minutes on the elliptical machines and then pop in her 60-minute piloxing DVD. She also mentioned that she and co-star/best friend, Vanessa Hudgens workout together.
As for Ashley’s fitness goal she said she’s already pleased with her long and slender legs that she inherited from her family but since she exercises they are nice and tone.  She does have to workout though in order to build muscle since she’s naturally thing.  She explained,
“I workout to build a little muscle on me because I’ve always been very thin.”
Ashley went on to explain that when it comes to dieting she is sure to eat plenty of protein but light on the carbs.  On Sundays however, she allows herself to eat whatever she wants because it’s her day off.  Two of her Sunday favorites are french fries and bread.
