Belinda Carlisle Signs with NutriSystem
During the 1980s the girl pop band The Go-Gos rocked the charts thanks to front-woman Belinda Carlisle. After their time in the limelight Belinda packed on the pounds, as seen in the above photo. But just as Marie Osmond and Tori Spelling did, Belinda decided to follow in their footsteps and sign on with NutriSystem and become a spokesperson. Belinda told People magazine that she started the weight loss program approximately a year ago and within the first four months she lost 20 pounds.
Here’s what she says about NutriSystem,
“When I moved to the south of France 10 years ago it taught me to celebrate food and not make it an enemy — people in my business usually do. When this (plan) came along it was really easy for me.”
As we’ve heard from other celebrities, NutriSystem is a diet plan where you can continue to eat, live and lead a normal lifestyle. According to Belinda,
“I still have a normal life. When I want to go out to eat, I can, and I can keep it off.”
