Bethenny Frankel’s Weight Loss Tips

by Alice on July 28, 2010

Reality star and author of Naturally Thin Bethenny Frankel shared valuable tips on weight loss, healthy eating and dieting on “The Huckabee Show”. Frankel strongly believes that extreme dieting leads to poor results and that losing weight the natural way is the key to a healthy lifestyle.

The TV star is well known for her post-baby diet.  Just a few weeks after she gave birth to her baby, FrAnkel was posing in magazines in bikini showing off her fabulous body.  She advises all women not to go for extreme eating habits and to just treat your diet as if it was your bank account.

“The truth is, you can’t be extreme, meaning there’s no binging but there’s no crash dieting … Truthfully, most people are terrified while they’re pregnant that they have to eat for two and then they binge. And then when they’re not pregnant they go on a crash diet. Extremes don’t work.”

Frankel says moderation is the most important thing in a diet. So, if you’re a fan of junk food and just can’t seem to stay away from it, just go for a small portion and make sure to control how much you eat.

“Well you can’t go crazy and eat large portions,” said Frankel.

The author’s philosophy is to stick to eating healthy food and follow a diet that best fits your lifestyle. Watch the video below for the whole interview.
