Biggest Loser John Crutchfield’s Weight Loss of 100 Pounds

by Betsy on Celebs on February 5, 2010

This week on the Biggest Loser season 9, John Crutchfield was the last of the contestants from the brown team to be eliminated. But elimination has not stopped him from losing weight now that he’s off the ranch and back at home in Orlando, Florida. When People magazine caught up with John this week he gave them the inside scoop on his diet and exercise regime at home. When asked about his favorite home workout John said he’ll go to the gym with friends and do the elliptical machine. He explained,

“I stick strictly to the elliptical machine and I do a little bit of treadmill at home just because of knees but my favorite machine in a gym setting is definitely the elliptical. I think you can get a full body workout — arms and legs — and a better burn than just a plain treadmill.”

His diet has changed at home too. He said that his taste buds have changed and he no longer wants things that are too sweet or too salty. These days he eats a lot of chicken breast, fish, veggies and Smart Balance butter as a substitute for real butter. As for his Superbowl snack of choice this weekend he’s laying off of the fried chicken wings and will instead go for grilled. He said,

“Grilled, lemon-covered chicken wings are really good. I may have five or six but really I haven’t done too bad with cravings at all. I would have to say that was definitely one of my weaknesses.”

Sounds like an ad for the butter substitute. If he really wants good nutrition and a healthy substitute for butter, Melt would be the way to go. All natural, mainly organic, no trans fats or hydrogenated oils, and with Virgin Coconut Oil and Flax oil, both of which are shown to increase metabolism, thereby helping him along faster in his dieting goals. I buy it at my local co-op, but their web site is meltbutteryspread.
