Since the birth of her children Britney Spears has been struggling, under the scrutiny of the public eye, with her weight.
However, she’s recently been working hard at getting herself back into dancing shape and, now that she has, she can splurge a little bit on food choices that are not so healthy.
She’s even been seen recently popping into the California Pizza Kitchen in Tarzana, California followed by a coffee stop at a local Starbucks. But, before you think she was being totally irresponsible with her choice of treats, let’s clarify that instead of a highly caloric frappuccino, Britney opted for an iced coffee.
Twenty-eight year old Britney seems to be getting both her body and her life back into shape so, as long as she doesn’t make a regular habit out of pizza meals, this one day of indulgence probably won’t hurt her weight too much.
Plus, she’s been using portion control to avoid consuming too many calories, only eating half of what is on her plate. She also reportedly follows the South Beach Diet, substituting foods high in fats and carbohydrates with healthier versions.
Britney also does cardio workouts 4-5 times a week and either an hour of yoga or Pilates once a week.
Yes, it has been about five years since the birth of Britney’s first son, but maybe she’s an inspiration to other mothers who are struggling with baby weight years later. It is never too late to get yourself into shape!
