Brooke Burke’s Daily Meal Plan

by Betsy on Celebs on April 5, 2010

Brooke Burke is the bubbly host of Dancing with the Stars. And even though she may not have six hours of dance practice every day like the contestants, she is in great shape and looks fabulous. She follows a sensible diet plan and doesn’t eat many sweets but admits that she craves pizza. Take a look at what Brooke’s typical daily meal plan consists of:

A blended frozen shake with berries, vegan protein, almond milk and vitamin powder.

An apple, almonds, mixed-berry yogurt and green tea. Or, she will have lentil soup or a PowerBar Pria.

Grilled filet mignon, sauteed zucchini and fresh broccoli.

where are the healthy carbs in her diet? what, no millet, no brown rice? this doesn't seem very balanced.

berries, apples and lentils are healthy sources of carbs.. Grains are a recent addition to the human diet (from an evolutionary standpoint) and I would practice portion control with these if you are looking to lose weight…

a lot of leafy greens, veggies, fruit, beans, nuts… portion control with grains. I prefer quinoa to brown rice.

Ok, well, then I don’t understand… what exactly IS a balanced weight loss (plant-based) plan?
