Brooklyn Decker’s Diet & Exercise Secrets

by Betsy on Celebs on February 15, 2010

Brooklyn Decker made the cover of the 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. She looks fabulous in all of her photos but naturally she has to work at it in order to maintain her shape. She told US magazine that a lot of it is good family genes but she also exercises and eats right. She  exercises at least three times a week (you can see her 25-minute workouts she created as part of the Elle Make Better Series: Elle Workout Yoga DVD series). She said,

“Yoga’s probably the thing I held onto most because I noticed it really enhanced my other workouts because I work out like an athlete,” she says. “I go for long runs or spin classes and I do weights, which I think a lot of women are scared of. I think it’s so important to do weights, because they don’t make you bigger, they make you more lean and toned and all that good stuff.”

If she doesn’t have time to exercise she does try to squeeze in five minutes of squats in order to keep everything tight. When it comes to her eating habits she prefers to add nutrients instead of cut foods out. For breakfast she’ll have Greek yogurt with fresh berries or an egg-white omelet. For lunch and dinner she’ll have chicken with vegetables or tuna with a salad. Through out the day if she gets hungry she’ll snack on carrots, hummus and nuts. Brooklyn does feed her sweet tooth with candy sometimes but definitely not every day.
