Cameron Diaz’s Lunch Box Diet
Do you constantly feel the need to snack on something all the time throughout your day? Then snack the healthy way like Cameron Diaz does – on the Lunch Box Diet.
Created by British trainer Simon Lovell, the Lunch Box Diet received quite a bit of attention in 2008 (when it was first launched) and appeared in glossy magazines in the UK, helping chronic snackers lose or maintain their weight.
The diet allows you to eat whatever you want for breakfast and for dinner, but you’re only allowed to snack on what’s the lunch box during the day. Filled with 60% vegetables, 30% protein and 10% dressing, the Lunch Box Diet balances your blood sugar levels, eliminating your cravings. Carbs are a big no-no, unless you’re following a fitness program too.
“It’s really important because it speeds up the body’s metabolic rate which helps us to burn calories more efficiently,” says Lovell in the BBC interview above. “So by eating more often you’re losing weight, which is fantastic!”
