When Carrie Underwood won American Idol in 2005 she not only found stardom but also the scrutiny of the media. Just a little bit on the curvy side (see photo on the left) she was suddenly labeled fat and she had to do something about it. She told Shape magazine,
“There’s nothing worst than going online and reading that someone has called you chubby.”
Only 5-feet-3 inches tall the country singer dropped 20 pounds and went from a size 6 to a size 2-4. Take a look at these three steps to her success:
-Food Journal: Carrie writes down everything she eats and notes the calorie content, number of carbohydrates and fat grams.
-Vegetarianism: Carries loves her fruit and veg so she’ll eat animal-free foods such as soy-based sausage, Flatout Tortilla Pizza, Quorn nuggets and Kashi bars.
-Jillian Michaels Workout Plan: Carrie like the workouts produced by Biggest Loser trainer, Jillian Michaels and when she’s angry she’ll give the punching bag a good beating.
