Heidi Klum: Post Baby Workout

As the Victoria’s Secret Angels are getting ready for the big annual fashion show, Heidi Klum is also getting her body back into shape even though she is officially not walking the catwalk. She has announced that she will be hosting the event instead but all the same she wants to look her best. The 36-year-old gave birth in early October and as can be seen in the photo above she’s already looking in tip-top shape. Becki Newton Tries Gymnastics & Kayaking

Becki Newton plays the role of the quirky and devious Amanda Tanen in the series Ugly Betty and she’s on the current cover of the November issue of SELF magazine. Apart from a fabulous photo shoot and interview she also did a SELF seven-day challenge called, Why Not. The challenge took her through different activities that she had never done before, two of which were gymnastics and kayaking.

The Victoria’s Secret Angel Boot Camp is in full swing. There are currently 10 aspiring models living in a swanky Manhattan penthouse competing in a series of challenges to become the next Victoria’s Secret Runway Angel. Becoming an Angel is what shot Miranda Kerr to international superstardom just a couple of years ago and now these new girls have high hopes of becoming the next Karolina Kurkova or Adriana Lima. Mya’s DWTS Workout

Kelly Osbourne is not the only one who lost weight during the current season of Dancing With The Stars. The R&B singer Mya has also lost 11 pounds and a dress size while on the show. She originally lost 17 pounds but then gained back a few pounds of muscle as she continued training. So now the petite star weight only 127 pounds. This week, she told the readers of OK! Magazine how she lost the weight. Her dance rehearsals were anywhere from six to 12 hours a day for several days a week. [Read more →]

Jane Fonda: Mountain Climbing at 71
Actress and 80s fitness guru Jane Fonda is 71 and she’s still looking fit and fabulous. Recently she has credited her great physique to a good sex life and exercise. When asked how she still looks so good she replied,
“I owe 30 percent to genes, 30 percent to good sex, 30 percent because of sports and healthy lifestyle with proper nutrition and for the remaining 10 percent I have to thank my plastic surgeon.”

Celebrity trainer David Kirsch helped Heidi Klum lose her baby weight, whipped Sports Illustrated swimwear model Julie Henderson into shape and detoxed Anne Hathaway, and now he’ll help you keep off those holiday season pounds.
That isn’t to say you can go overboard with the turkey, stuffing and eggnog over the next few weeks, but he’s created a special workout that’ll help you stay (more or less) on your fitness track. All you need are dumbbells, a medicine ball and an exercise ball.

Tara Costa Runs NYC Marathon

Tara Costa, the winner of Biggest Loser season 7 is still in tip-top shape after completing the show seven months ago. Once weighing 294 pounds she is down to a size 8 and she just ran the New York City marathon last week. In her interview with Ok! Magazine she revealed her inspiration for running the race and how she trained in order to finish with a time of 4:23:12. She said that after finishing Biggest Loser she needed a new challenge in order to keep herself motivated so she followed an online training program to get ready for the marathon. [Read more →]

Jon Gosselin Turns To Yoga

Reality TV dad Jon Gosselin seems to finally be getting some help. The embattled father of 8 was recently spotted by Us magazine giving yoga a spin, trying out different poses and stretching as well as meditative and breathing exercises.
The 33-year-old has made tabloid headlines in the last few months since him and his wife of 10 years, Kate, started divorce proceedings. But it seems the partying and bad behavior has led him to try to find holistic help as he faces a large legal battle with his estranged wife.

British actress Thandie Newton has starred in films such as Mission Impossible II, Crash and W. She’s simply gorgeous and always looks picture-perfect on the red carpet. In this month’s issue of the UK InStyle Magazine the 37-year-old mother-of-two explains that her fit figure all boils down to good genes workouts at the gym and plenty of yoga. She said,
“I’m a Jivamukti yoga freak – it’s food for my soul. When I’m not working, I’ll drop Rip off at school and Nico at nursery, then I go to yoga.”
