Charlotte Church: Post-Baby Diet

The incredibly talented classical crossover singer and pop sensation Charlotte Church has finally dropped that baby weight after the birth of her second child Dexter, in January of 2009. She was worried it was going to be a struggle but she lost 20 pounds in two months and dropped from a size 14 to a size 12. Reportedly, her husband Gavin has been helping her along the way and gives her plenty of encouragement and they’ve been spotted exercising together. One source said,
“Charlotte was running up and down a gentle incline with Gavin by her side,” an onlooker told Reveal magazine. “They then did some stretches together on the ground.”
In the past Church has said she doesn’t like the gym that much and prefers her food but recently she has posted on Twitter that she has been swimming lately and taking long walks with her family. It’s evident that her protein-heavy diet and good old-fashioned exercise is paying off. Congratulations, Charlotte.

My son had been overweight all his life and growing up we as parents always tried to encourage him to lose weight. It wasn’t until he was in his early 20’s that he decided to lose weight on his own. So far he has lost about 80 pounds and looks great. He basically watches what he eats and excercises at home. The bottom line is that a person will not lose weight unless they want to do it for themselves. Congratulations to Charlotte.
