Christina Milian gained about 45 pounds while she was pregnant with Violet, her daughter. Back in April, just 3 month after she gave birth, she already lost 27 pounds thanks to exercise and breastfeeding, but also to a secret help.
When asked about the secret to her weight loss, Milian said: “This woman!” pointing to her mother. The 29-year-old revealed that she had, at all times, the support of her mother, who was the one who helped her lose the extra pounds.
Carmen, her mom, kept her on track and was the chef in the house. She prepared daily meals for Milian to make sure she eats healthy. Her diet included mostly raw foods.
“The first month, I lost weight drastically,” she said. “On top of that, she cooked me a lot of raw vegetables and raw salads and proteins — and it worked! I also drank a lot of water.”
Milian confessed that her family is very supportive and this has helped her a lot, not just with losing weight after the pregnancy, but also after she broke up with Violet’s father.
