Courtney Love: As Thin As Can Be

The once curvaceous rocker Courtney Love looks worryingly thin.  This week she was spotted in London looking as frail as can be.  The 44-year-old dropped approximately 50 pounds a couple of years ago, but now she has gone to the other extreme and she is obviously too skinny.  In 2007 she was often seen with protein shakes during concerts and she would joke about her new shape and deny all the while that she had any assistance through surgery.

The once curvaceous rocker Courtney Love looks worryingly thin.  This week she was spotted in London (see photo above) looking as frail as can be.  The 44-year-old dropped approximately 50 pounds a couple of years ago, but now she has gone to the other extreme and she is obviously too skinny.  In 2007 she was often seen with protein shakes during concerts and she would joke about her new shape and deny all the while that she had any assistance through surgery.

However, in January of 2009 she did confess that she wanted to get a gastric band but the doctors told her she wasn’t fat enough.  Courtney told Elle Magazine,

“If I could get a gastric band, I would.  I’ve heard it’s a lot of vomiting and a pain in the ass, but it’s still easier than a diet.”

As for now we don’t know why or how she got so thin but it’s obvious she looks very unhealthy and she has lost the glow she once had.
