“Dancing Your Ass Off” MEL B’s Diet Tips

Melanie Brown aka Scary Spice of the Spice Girls fame is no longer scary but a caring mother of two adorable girls and a third from hubby Stephen’s previous relationship. She is in great form and attributes it to her strenuous exercise regimen that she says is “nuts”. This former Spice Girl singer is extremely conscious about maintaining her fabulous figure and so what does she do about it?

She works out on her own Mel B fitness DVDs with friends at times; sometimes it is an hour long sprint and walk or even hiking if she is at L.A. She does not accompany her hubby Stephen Belafonte to the gym but here’s what she has to say about working out together.

She said: “We have a good, healthy sex life, which is important for a relationship. It’s not the be all and end all, but it helps! This is one woman who sure knows how to please her man!

Mel B who is hosting her show “Dancing Your Ass Off”, will be giving “thinspirational” diet tips to the contestants. She strongly believes in relishing the health foods that one eats. And so according to her the food you prepare has to taste good and therefore it is necessary to spend time to nurture the food and lovingly prepare it for your family.

The tips she offers to dieters:

  • Keep a tab on your caloric intake, listen to your body’s needs and never overeat!
  • Be well informed about health foods  and about anything that interests you, as knowledge empowers you.
  • Remain updated about newer diet regimens and apply it to your life as well.

Mel B danced her way to success during the 1990s, a decade that was defined by “Girl Power”, a term coined by the Spice Girls. Now as she hosts season 2 of Dancing Your Ass Off, we recall how she has time and again reiterated that she shed all the weight she gained during pregnancy as she did Dancing with the Stars.

Dancing sure works wonders for the body!
