Dara Torres: Her Butt Workout Secret

Five-time Olympian Dara Torres takes fitness to heart. She has produced a Dara Torres fitness DVD, called Resistance Stretching With Dara Torres. At the age of 43, Dara feels that age is just a number and that fitness is the key to living a long and healthy life. She said she encourages her children to be active and she suggests that even a daily walk is all that is necessary to be fit. She told AOL Health,
“Exercise not only makes you feel younger, it relieves stress, and you automatically look better. It’s a win-win.”
And here is a workout Dara absolute swears by for a problem area of hers, a sagging butt (judging by her photos this excercise works!).
The Dara Torres Anti-Sagging Butt Workout
1. Place a stability ball against the wall and then get on your back with your rear-end close against the ball so that your feet are resting on top of it.
2. With your arms down at your sides lift your rear-end and hold for a second as you close your knees, open your knees, and then rest back on the ground.
3. Do three sets of 15 repetitions.
Lastly, when it comes to aging, Torres has learned to take it all in stride. She said,
“It’s hard to accept the fact that I’m not 20 years old with that same body, but I have learned to go with the flow.”
