
The 80s pop singer Debbie Gibson is making a comeback. She looks great, she’s in a healthy relationship and she’s ready to start singing again. She recently told People Magazine that she has lost 17 pounds thanks to her boyfriend who is a doctor that specializes in preventative medicine. He developed a strict diet and exercise plan for her to follow but she won’t reveal what it actually it entails. She simply stated,
“I won’t say it was easy, but it was really effective. He really came up with something that worked for me.”
She explained that at first she thought she just needed to lose approximately 5 pounds, but once she got started she dropped 17 pounds and now she has more energy and feels like she is in great shape.
Last week while performing at a charity event (see photo above) fans commented on her tone body. Gibson responded,
“It is really gratifying to have people notice, especially younger women. If I can do this, anyone can.”
The 38-year-old is currently finishing the second season of the Deborah Gibson’s Electric Youth summer camp and she’s working on a comeback album and will possibly have her own reality show.
