Fergie: Weight Gain

The sexy Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie has joined the list of Hollywood celebrity shape-shifters who gain or lose weight for a role.  Christian Bale and Renee Zellweger seem to pull it off and it looks like Fergie can too.  For her role in the movie Nine she gained 17 pounds and even though the movie has yet to be released she has already dropped the weight and is back in fit condition.  In a new interview with the Daily Record newspaper she said she enjoyed putting on the weight.

“It was easy to put it on and it was fun and I loved it. I ate fried foods, everything, and I just didn’t work out at all.”

She went on to explain that she wasn’t worried about it while she was gaining.  It had been the first time since high school that she let herself eat whatever she wanted.  After filming when it was time to get back in shape, Fergie got a personal trainer to stay motivated.  She said,

“It really took me a while mentally to get back to that routine. So now I have a trainer, which is great, and keeps me motivated.”
