Fiona Phillips on Diets and Plastic Surgery

by Alice on January 29, 2011

TV presenter Fiona Phillips is all about healthy living. She’s been a vegetarian since she was a teenager and loves everything that includes potatoes. She even recommends mashed potatoes and water as a hangover cure.

On the other hand, she doesn’t consider her healthy eating habits to be a diet. She actually doesn’t believe diets can work long-term and that’s because she confessed to have tried a couple of diets when she was younger, but with no successful long term results.

“When I was 23 I threw away my scales and I haven’t a clue how much I weigh now — though I’m pretty slim, a size ten,” she said.

When it comes to exercise, she’s not a fan of working out in a gym but prefers walking from one place to another to boost her energy levels. To compensate for the lack of sleep and get the energy she needs, Fiona also takes supplements and Floradix liquid iron.

The 50-year-old TV presenter revealed that she would never have plastic surgery to look younger, not even Botox, and of those who do these kind of procedures she says that “they go down in my opinion.”
