Geri Halliwell Shows Off New Figure

by Marianne on May 10, 2011

Geri Halliwell is a member of the world-wide phenomenon all-female group, the Spice Girls. Now, she is a hands-on mother to her daughter, 5-year old Bluebell Madonna.

In her Spice Girls days, Geri was a curvy size 12. She admitted that she suffered from eating disorders, anorexia and bulimia in the past and has struggled to fully accept her figure. Now, it looks like Geri is finally happy with her body. She is now a healthy size 8. To keep her body toned, Geri practices yoga at home.

According to Geri, it was her daughter that made her realize that she should keep her weight in control.

“I’ve been there and done it all. I’ve not been body-confident and thought “My boobs are too big, too small, I’m too small, too tall, too skinny, too wide, too slim, too fat…”But when I had Bluebell, I knew I had to set a healthy example. I’ve learned that if I tell myself I’m not allowed something I binge on it later.”

Recently, Geri attended the Sony Radio Academy Awards in London. She looked stunning in a skintight pink bandage dress and a pair of nude platform heels.

So what’s keeping the former Ginger Spice busy, nowadays? Aside from her motherhood duties, Geri launched her own range of bikinis for high-street chain Next. She also recorded a new album, which two record companies are bidding for.
