
Gwyneth Paltrow reprised her role as Pepper Potts in the hit movie, Iron Man II. The 37-year-old had to whip herself into shape and she did it with the help of celebrity trainer and friend, Tracy Anderson. She had to gain 10 pounds of muscle for the role so she did the leg series of videos produced by Tracy. She explained,
“This 26-minute long video was an amazing start for getting the butt and legs I had always hoped for….This regime got me into the shape of my life and I continue to return to it when I have a specific event so that I can do ridiculous things like be a 37-year-old mother of two and wear shorts!”
She also followed a strict cleansing diet (developed by Tracy) for five days to jump start her workout plan. Some of the foods she ate included kale juice, low-carb vegan wraps, lemon grilled chicken, smoothies made with almond milk, green salads and organic kombucha.
Iron Man II is out in theaters now.
