Jackie Warner’s Thanksgiving Weight-loss Tips

If you cheated on your weight-loss program yesterday by overindulging on that Thanksgiving feast, don’t worry. Celebrity trainer and workout DVD star Jackie Warner offers a few helpful tips on how to get back on track.
You need to start exercising, immediately. Whether it’s a yoga or spinning class, or one-on-one attention with your personal trainer, Jackie says it’s important that you create a new, consistent exercise pattern so you don’t beat yourself up too much about over-eating. Even if you’re just active for 20 minutes outside, it’s a start that can reduce your cravings.
When it comes to the leftovers filling your fridge, start with the veggies first and then move on to the white turkey meats, the stuffing and sweet potato and then finally the he pumpkin pie or desserts. You’ve got to start with the healthiest foods first before moving onto the fattening ones. But before you even open your fridge, why not make yourself a strong cup of green tea – this might be just what you need to drive away that craving for something sweet.
You could also try a mini detox. Before each meal, drink a glass of eater with lemon – the lemon acts as a natural detoxifier for your liver and also suppresses appetite.
