Jada Pinkett Smith: Diet and Exercise

The sultry actress Jada Pinkett Smith has it all; a great career, a strong 12 year marriage with heartthrob Will Smith, three kids and one amazing body!  Looking better than ever she struts her stuff in the August issue of Shape Magazine where she gives some good diet and exercise tips.  Firstly, Jada makes it clear that fitness has been a part of her life since she was a child.  She did gymnastics, horseback riding and dance and being a couch potato wasn’t allowed in her house.  These days she expects her kids to be just as active. She said,
“They love to go to the gym with Will and me, but surfing and snowboarding is what we do together as a family for fun.”
Jada’s mother even goes to the gym with her at 6:30am each day.  When it comes to eating Jada relies on superfoods because she says she can’t cook.  Superfoods must be the way to go to get a body like hers.  She explains,
“I can’t cook!” she says. “It’s genetic. My grandmother can’t cook, my mother can’t cook. I was raised to believe you eat because your body needs fuel for energy, so I eat superfoods.”
Some popular superfoods include: berries, citrus, cruciferous vegetables, eggs, green foods, green leafy vegetables, legumes, nuts, oats, olives and olive oil, fish rich in Omega-3fatty acids, orange vegetables, sea vegetables, seeds, soy, tea, tomatoes, turkey, whole grains and yogurt and kefir.
