Jaime Pressly: Post-Baby Workout

Jaime Pressly, the actress from My Name is Earl graces the cover of Shape Magazine this March and she looks fantastic! Even better, she topped Shape’s annual list of Sexiest Bodies in Hollywood. How did she gain that title after giving birth to her son? Well, the now 31-year-old decided to give herself a 30th birthday present by making a commitment to get fit and tone up the abs. She said,
“I’ve always exercised really hard, I’m into the no pain, no gain thing!” She later added, ”Lately I love my stomach. After growing a human being inside me, there is nothing more incredible or sexy!”
Jaime focused on eating a healthy diet and she added running on a treadmill and lifting weights to her daily workout schedule in order to lose the 42 pounds she had gained while pregnant. Jaime told Shape Magazine,
“That’s a lot of weight for mama. Sure, I wanted to lose my baby weight, but I didn’t want to lose my butt! I think it’s sexy when women have shapely bodies.”
Her trainer, Mike Jones, has Jaime follow a varied circuit-training session that she does four times a week. Jones said,
“Most of the exercises we do work multiple muscles at once, and there’s no rest between sets, so Jaime’s heart rate—and calorie burn—stays high.”
From the likes of Jaime, her workouts have paid off.
