Jenna Elfman: Pregnancy Diet

jenna-elman-pre-natal-diet The former Golden Globe winner, two-time Emmy nominated actress and now the star of Accidentally on Purpose, Jenna Elfman, is pregnant with baby number two. Likewise, since she’s been pregnant once before she knows how to balance exercise, diet and cravings in order to keep healthy and fit while pregnant. At a charity event over the weekend she told People Magazine that she is past the cravings phase and now she just likes to eat in general. She jokes,

“I like stuffing food down my face.”

When it comes to exercise she is working out on a treadmill three times a week and she’ll lift some weights. That seems like a sensible exercise plan for someone who is pregnant and in her 30s. Walking and light running on the treadmill protects the knees and the pace and incline can both be controlled to suit the woman’s trimester.
The 37-year-old is due to have her second son in March of 2010.
