Jennifer Garner’s Post Baby Workout

It was just three months ago that Jennifer Garner gave birth to her second child, Seraphia Rose, and she’s already well on her way to get back to her pre-baby body weight. Jennifer’s fitness trainer, Valerie Waters, advises all of her new mom clients to not just do heaps of cardio to burn calories but to also do strength training at the onset in order to speed up the metabolism.
Ms. Waters told People Magazine,
“If you can only exercise 20 minutes three times a week, you should be strength training – squats, push-ups, lunges, planks,” she explains. “You’ll burn the same amount of calories [as cardio] but you’ll also add lean muscle, which speeds up your metabolism.”
We’re not sure as to how often Jennifer workouts, but it appears that she’s approaching her weight loss the sensible way and not trying to melt off the pounds in matter of a weeks like some other celebrity A-listers do.
