Jennifer Hudson: Lost the Weight With Portion Control

by Betsy on Celebs on April 9, 2010

R&B singer Jennifer Hudson recently signed on as a Weight Watchers spokesperson. After months of speculation as to how she lost so much weight she announced last week that she did it with the help of the weight loss company. She said,

“I tried diet after diet, plan after plan and saw pretty much the same, but Weight Watchers is that much more different.”

She likes Weight Watchers because it offers a nonrestrictive meal plan so she was able to eat whatever she wanted as long as she kept her portions under control. Now she can eat the things she loves like sushi, pizza and ice cream. She explained,

“I was able to eat sushi and I hadn’t had ice cream in about ten years, and pizza in about ten years, until now.”

She hopes that others who struggle with their weight will follow her lead and decide to conquer what is often considered impossible; sustainable weight loss. Now she looks lean, healthy and has a new outlook on life.

Celeb Diet Doc Says…
It’s all about the portion control with processed foods. At the end of the day, remember the Weight Watcher’s point system is basically just a calorie counting system.
