Jennifer Lopez Eases Up on Diet and Fitness Routines

Jennifer Lopez admitted recently that she’s eased up on her diet and fitness routine, but is that because she doesn’t want to “miss out” on the fun her curves allow her to have? The 40-year-old singer and actress debuted a hot body at Dick Clark’s annual New Year’s Eve party when she performed in a skin-tight sequined catsuit and this week told the New York Post that it’s no fun being skinny.

“It’s true I could serve coffee using my rear as a ledge, but I’m proud of my butt,” she was quoted as saying. “A dress shouldn’t look like a coat hanger. Skinny girls miss out.”

The mother of twins worked hard to drop the 40 pounds she gained during her pregnancy using the TRX Suspension Trainer with celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson. These days, the time she does put in working out is spent on boxing, light circuit training and a bit of cardio.

Well Jennifer certainly hasn’t lost her curves and looks absolutely stunning in her new film The Back-up Plan starring opposite Alex O’Loughlin, at cinemas in April 2010.
