The inside skinny... on Jeremy Piven: Diet and Exercise

Jeremy Piven: Diet and Exercise

Jeremy Piven stars as the money-hungry cut-throat Hollywood celebrity manager on the HBO hit series, Entourage.  But in real life he’s a down to earth guy who is often seen running in the neighborhood in Los Angeles, does paddle boarding and practices yoga.  He’s actually really good at yoga, and by the looks of the photo above he probably lifts weights too considering the size of those biceps! In the cover story of Men’s Health Magazine, Jeremy opens up about his desires to be healthy, maintain balance and nurture life.  In regard to  practicing yoga he said,
“I loved the way it made me feel. It opens you out and you get great twang. It’s incredible. Ari’s [his character in Entourage] got some quick-twitch anger, and to do that repeatedly you have to come from a place of stillness. It´s so funny because I´m naturally kind of calm. To be healthy you have to have those dualities in your life.”
In regard to his fish poisoning scare that happened a few months ago he explained,
“I was brought to my knees with a health situation.  It was so interesting because I thought I was living as healthy as I could, I didn’t eat anything but fish for 20 years and it kind of manifested in such a way that I had
chronic fatigue, mercury poisoning and all of those things resulted in me not being able to get out of bed.  If you work without stopping and don’t balance your life and nurture the rest of your life you’re going to be brought to your knees and that’s basically what happened to me.”
Fortunately, Jeremy is now well-balanced when it comes to both exercise and diet.
