Julianne Hough: New Dance Workout DVD

Dancing with the Stars ballroom dancer and country music star Julianne Hough will soon have us dancing our way to slim and toned bodies with her new fitness DVD Dance with Julianne: Cardio Ballroom

The 21-year-old’s DVD is a fun workout that doesn’t require a partner. Available from 15 December 2009, anyone can learn the cardio ballroom moves regardless of fitness level or dance experience. Julianne takes viewers through specially choreographed Jive, Cha Cha and Paso Doble moves, as they burn fat to a leaner and healthier body. You can even these routines on the dance floor at holiday parties this festive season!
“Dance is the best way to exercise.” Julianne says. “You’ll have so much fun, you won’t even realize you’re getting a great full- body workout.”
The Dance with Julianne: Cardio Ballroom DVD consists of a 4-minute warm-up, followed by 3 invigorating 10-minute sections choreographed to get your heart rate up and burn fat. Even if you have no dance experience, you’ll be able to enjoy the workout – the routines are often repeated as new steps and mini-combos get added steadily. Afterwards, the cool down session lasts for roughly 4 minutes. Also included on the DVD is a private one-on-one dance lesson with Julianne which breaks down the steps in more detail.
