The girl pop group Liberty X split up in 2007 and since then, one of the members Kelli Young, gained and then lost 30 pounds. She told Closer Magazine that within a year after the group split up she went from weighing 120 pounds up to 150 pound.  She said,

“I didn’t look “fat” because I’m tall, but I was flabby and untoned and I had a paunch where my six-pack used to be. My 25in waist jeans wouldn’t even go past my knees.”

A few months ago, Kelli was inspired to lose the weight when she saw former band member Jessica Taylor on ITV’s Dancing on Ice. Jessica looked so toned that Kelli got envious and wanted her old body back.  She promptly started an intense six-week diet and exercise plan to lose the 30 pounds and get back into her old clothes. She said,

“It was amazing how quickly I got back into shape.  Now I’m much more toned and I feel so much fitter.”

Although we’ll probably never get to her a new single by Liberty X ever again, now that Kelli is fit again and has energy and inspiration, she is ready to get back to working on her solo material.

    Try wearing wearable weights like “Body Togs” weighted sleeves worn on your arms & legs under your clothes that increase calorie burn, muscle tone & bone density. Weighted vest work great too!
