Kelly Brook is 30 and she still manages to keep her body looking fabulous, although she claims she doesn’t diet and rarely goes to the gym to exercise. The 5’8″ TV presenter and model did follow a macrobiotic diet a few years ago, and although it gave her more energy, she actually gained weight.
Brook finds diets boring and enjoys food too much to go on a diet and make sacrifices.
“The strict nature of the diet bored me – I love my food too much. Now, I don’t deprive myself of anything. I’m not a skinny girl but, luckily, it goes to all the right places. I’m 5ft 8in and a size 10,” she reveals.
When it comes to working out, the model doesn’t really like to go to the gym to exercise. Instead, she prefers outdoor activities, like riding her bike and swimming, in order to stay in shape.
“I’m not a gym bunny – I hardly ever go. I have a farm in Kent and tend to keep fit by doing outdoorsy things, like gardening, riding my bike, walking my dog and swimming,” she says.
Brook also practices Pilates twice a week to keep her figure lean. To help her get an energy boost, the TV presenter says she’s taking a supplement called Women’s One Daily.
Even if she’s a model and needs to keep her body slim, she does enjoy Coke, and not the light version.
“Full-fat Coke with ice and a slice. I can’t resist it,” Brooke admits.
Celeb Diet Doc Says…
A macrobiotic diet can lead to weight gain if you’re not careful with the grains… especially processed grains. Remember cows are fattened up with corn meal!
