Reality television star Kim Kardashian sure is on a health kick as of late. Over the past couple of months she has been all over the tabloids exercising, making fitness workout DVDs and exercising yet some more. Now, she’s told Us Weekly Magazine that she followed a macrobiotic diet and had a strict workout routine in preparation for filming her three-part fitness DVD series titled, Fit in Your Jeans by Friday. (see image above)
Kim is following a macrobiotic diet which includes foods such as tofu, quinoa, soy cheese and veggie burgers and she’s staying away from burgers and fries. Her workout regimen involved working out every day for at least two hours and some days she would even do an extra workout. Her cardio portions of her workout consisted of using small weights, she did heaps of lunges, and also a lot of abs exercises.

Good to see that Kim is starting to a healthier diet! Her junk food diet was going to doom her to weight gain and poor health.

tofu, veggie burgers and soy cheese are NOT what a macrobiotic diet is about. First of all, thanks for the hilarious description of Macrobiotics. Macrobiotics is a lifestyle not a fad Hollywood diet. Absolutely no processed foods. Soy cheese (MAJOR PROCESSED, tofu, and store purchased veggie burgers are all processed, and typically hamburger buns are not typical nor is any bread. Based on what season, region, climate, health, inherited conditions, climates. inherited conditions and much more the Macrobiotic lifestyle is not a fad diet one uses to get ready for a video shoot…..HILARIOUS!
thanks for correcting the post… here's a more accurate description of a macrobiotic diet.. and I'm sure there are some variations on the theme…
