
Since the post-baby weight Photoshop debacle with Ok magazine, Kourtney Kardashian has revealed her real body since giving birth in December. Although Kourtney lost 12 pounds immediately after the birth, she struggled a little with the bulge that sat around her waist until she finally lost 33 pounds. Kourtney shared a few of her weight-loss tips since giving birth to Mason.
Her number tip, though, is to fit your exercise routine into your new lifestyle. A new-born baby requires round-the-clock attention, so instead of trying to find the time to get out the house, rather take a jog around your block – you’re close to home and you cut out all traveling time trying to get gym.
If you’re looking for motivation, exercise with a friend or in Kourtney’s case, your sister. It’s more fun working out with someone and you can challenge each other.
“A few weeks after I had Mason, my weight kind of stopped dropping,” says Kourtney. “It had been dropping, dropping, dropping, then for a good week or two, I was the same weight every day. I was like, ‘OK, I have to step it up’.”
Kourtney recovered from her slump by changing up her routine and adding weights. Kourtney also recommends not denying yourself the little treats. You can also use the small indulgences to reward yourself, but as long as you’re not depriving yourself.
