Kristin Cavallari’s Diet Tips For a Bikini Body

by Betsy on Celebs on May 10, 2010

It may be the last season of the hit reality show, The Hills, but that doesn’t mean that Kristin Cavallari is hanging up her sneakers and breaking out the Hagen Daz. She’s still got one hot body and in a recent interview she reveals five tips to get the bikini body you’ve always wanted. Check out these great tips:

1. Fight Cellulite
Eat foods that are high in cellulite-fighting minerals and proteins and that will boost circulation. Good choices are bananas, pears, oily fish and asparagus.

2. Ditch the Crunches
Crunches won’t get rid of that belly fat, they just tone the muscle under the fat. Instead, boost your cardio workouts to melt fat cells all over your body.

3. Bust the Bloat
Still bloated even though you go to the gym practically every day? Eliminate chewing gum as it will trap air in your GI tract and also eliminate high-salt foods like broccoli, onions and cabbage that create gas in the intestinal tract. Try potassium-rich foods instead to counterbalance any excess of sodium.

4. Snack Your Way Slim
Eat something every three to four hours. If you deprive yourself of food you’ll get more frequent cravings and it’s harder to control them.

5. Count Calories not Carbs
Research shows that those who opt for a low-fat diet over a low-carb diet are more successful in keeping weight off long term.

I don't get it…your supposed to eat veggies…but then veggies leave you bloated…what gives?

And what potassium rich foods?

Also – everyone says something different – like with bananas.
