Kristin Cavallari’s Diet Secrets

Reality star from the Hills, Kristin Cavallari spoke with US Magazine about her daily diet habits while attending the Alice+Olivia fashion show in NYC this week.  Her high protein diet consists of a good amount of fish, in particular salmon, and she also eats a lot of veggies.  She said,

“I’ll usually have eggs and fruit for breakfast and I try to do a salad with chicken for lunch. I try to eat really healthy.”

Currently, Cavallari is busy promoting her MTV reality show so she’s finding it hard to find time to sit down and eat.  She does however love the little chocolates that you find on hotel pillows left by the staff and she will indulge in those from time to time. Cavallari also tries to keep an energy bar with her in case she gets hungry or needs a boost and doesn’t have time to eat a proper meal. She said,

“I’m not normally like that. It’s only been the past month. I have low energy and I get headaches a lot. I need to be better about it.”

As for her workouts, she claims that over the past month she has only has one workout session which consisted of some lunges and push ups in her hotel room before presenting at the MTV VMAs.  The 22-year-old admits that it’s a stressful time and stress can make her lose weight but she also realizes it’s a temporary situation.
