Lauren Conrad: Weight Loss

Lauren Conrad has reportedly lost 10 pounds with the help of her trainer Jarett Del Bene. With the increased popularity of the Hills, has come increased and sometimes unwanted scrutiny. Lauren explains
“When you are constantly being photographed, all your flaws get pointed out. I wanted to get in better shape so I could feel more confident.”
Lauren Conrad’s diet plan
Lauren has learned to break her pasta habit although she says it “was really hard.” When “everyone wants to order pizza, I make them eat bean bowls (kidney, garbanzo and black beans with tomatoes).” It helps that her roomie, Audrina Patridge, is on the same diet plan. Her 1500 calorie-a-diet consists of 3 meals and 3 snacks.
Breakfast – Whole-wheat toast and peanut butter
Lunch – Protein shake
Snacks – Almonds and apples
Dinner – Lean fish and steamed vegetables
Lauren Conrad’s Workout
Del Bene explains “Lauren really wanted to tone her arms and legs – she was happy with what she had, but she wanted to take it to the next level.” Lauren’s workout includes circuit training 3 times a week (lunges, squats, push-ups, pull-ups and free weights). Her other days are filled with cardio activities including hiking, running, and kickboxing. She says “I love waking up early and going on an hour hike. It’s the perfect start to my day.”
Celebrity Diet Doctor weigh in…
Lauren is following a rather high protein diet. I would recommend upping the fruits and veggies. Remember not all carbs are bad! Unprocessed fruits and veggies are good carbs that will help you lose a lot of weight.
