“Glee” star Lea Michele was spotted on the red carpet of the Fox All Star Party with a way thinner figure. Although the 23-year-old actress enjoyed exercising since the age of eight, it looks like this time she really took it seriously. A workout regime combined with a vegan diet, are the secrets to her slimmer body.
Lea decided to change her eating habits last August and thought that a vegan diet might just do the trick. So, she started by removing meat and dairy from her daily menu, replacing them with vegetables and fruits.
“I’m a vegan,” Lea said. “It makes me feel really good and bright. You need a lot of energy to play spunky Rachel Berry, so I’ve tried a lot of different things — and so far, this is working.”
The actress was motivated by her Glee character’s weight obsession, Rachel Berry. Apart from a healthy diet, she also started doing a cardio routine, as well as yoga, to relieve the stress on the set, while filming the episodes.
