Lori Loughlin: Diet and Exercise

The up and coming star from 90210, Lori Louglin, recently told Health Magazine that the word ‘diet’ does not enter her vocabulary.  Lori revealed to the magazine,

“The minute I tell myself I’m on a diet, I want to eat everything in front of me – I’m starving! It’s more about portion control and cutting out foods that have a lot of fat.”

When it comes to foods, Lori said that she tries to eat healthy snacks such as almonds and apples in order to minimize cravings and keep herself energized.  She said,

“There may be tempting dessert there, but I know if I eat that, I’ll be exhausted afterward.”

Lori’s exercise habits are admirable as she does a variety of workouts during the week to keep both body and mind strong.

“If I don’t exercise, I don’t function as well. I respond energetically and emotionally to exercising, whether it’s yoga, going for a hike, taking a treadmill class, or doing Pilates. But I like to mix it up so I don’t get bored.”

This 44 year old actress and mother of two knows how to approach a healthy lifestyle with the right frame of mind.

    Quite frankly I don’t believe in portion control, it is not that easy to do it and I really believe that celebrities that say that they follow this method actually don’t want to share their diet secrets.
