LuAnn de Lesseps: Diet and Exercise

Reality show star, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps from the series Real Housewives of New York City told People Magazine how she stays in shape and so ultra-svelte.  First off, she is a practitioner of Ashtanga Yoga and while this of course keeps her fit she also claims that it helps her maintain that glowing complexion.  She said,

“I do a yoga headstand every morning. I don’t do Botox. Headstands are great for getting the circulation going and giving tone to your muscles in the face.”

Apart from her yoga she said she relies on a Mediterranean diet to stay trim.

“It’s the most tasty: fish, olive oils, and simple white meat,” explains de Lesseps, adding, “not that I don’t enjoy my weekly steak!”

One of de Lesseps co-stars on the reality show Bethenny Frankel is also one who is careful to watch her weight and lead a healthy lifestyle and she even wrote a book about it.  There are three Real Housewives left so hopefully we will get some tips from them too sometime soon.
