Martin Kemp Uses Slim-Fast

The 80s rock band Spandeau Ballet have been busy on their autumn tour. The middle-aged rockers didn’t just have to get their music act together after being in retirement for so long, but they also had to get their bodies in shape. Guitarist Martin Kemp told Closer Magazine that even though he looks great he’s had to really work at it to keep his shape. He said that as he gets older it’s harder to keep the weight off so he has upped his gym visits to four times a week for an hour each time. He’s also doing Slim-Fast. He explained,
“I love binge eating so I pile on weight and then I have to spend two months working it off again. It’s all exercise and Slim-Fast shakes now. I live on the stuff – I’ll have a shake for breakfast and lunch when I’m being particularly hardcore.”
The 48-year-old joked saying he feels he looks older in the mirror every single morning. But by the likes of this photo it looks like he’s doing a pretty good job as there are no signs of a tire around his middle and he’s obviously got some energy to perform on stage.

hmmm… Notice that this product is high in SUGAR!
Do you think sugar, and other refined carbs, that are the cause for the obesity crisis in the first place is going to solve your weight issue?
Do you think refined sugar, which promotes aging and elevated cholesterol, is good for your health?
