Melissa Rycroft’s Weight Loss Tip

The newly re-engaged Melissa Rycroft shared her latest weight loss tip with People Magazine this week: plan a wedding! The former The Bachelor and Dancing with the Stars contestant got engaged to her on-again off-again boyfriend of two years, Tye Strickland, on June 26.

“I’ve heard the stress alone of planning a wedding helps you get into shape for it, so we’ll see if I need to stress myself out a little bit to lose that extra pound.”

Our hearts went out to Melissa after the 13th season of The Bachelor when Jason Mesnick proposed to her during the show’s season finale. Devastatingly, he broke off the engagement on national television weeks later, saying he was still in love with runner-up Molly Malaney. But it seems things have worked out for the reality TV star when 28-year Dallas insurance agent Strickland popped the question last month.

Melissa, however, shouldn’t be worried about dropping any extra pounds for her wedding after the grueling workout she was put through during her appearance on Dancing with the Stars recently. She stayed lean by regularly eating small meals and trained at least eight hours every day to prepare for her performances on the show. If she keeps up her healthy eating habits and only half of her daily dance training, we’re pretty sure Melissa’s body will remain sexily sculpted for the wedding.
