Michael Jackson’s Health in Question

Just a week before Michael Jackson’s mysterious death we reported that he was training with his pal and former Incredible Hulk, Lou Ferrigno. After Jackson’s death Ferrigno was interviewed on television and he said that Micheal was fit and working out regularly on gym equipment and was shocked of his passing. Now, Joe Jackson, the family patriarch and producers are saying that Michael didn’t have the stamina to do the upcoming shows in London and he wasn’t fit enough to endure such strain. Joe Jackson told ABC News,
“Michael told me himself [that] he agreed to 10 shows. But they went and added all these other shows. I was worried about his health. No artist can do those many shows back to back like that, and so I knew Michael couldn’t do all those shows.”
Leonard Rowe, Jackson’s former financial advisor said that Michael,
“was not ready. He was not fit, [only] if you can call weighing 110, 115 pounds fit.”
110 pounds! The energy required to pull-off a choreographed show such as his is immense and there is no way a 110-155 pound person could do that unless he/she was in tip-top shape. Frank DiLeo was Michael’s manager and he claims that Michael was ready for the London gig:
“He built up his stamina. There would have been no problems, I don’t think, with him doing this tour. Nobody was pushing him into it. Nobody was overworking him.”
